During my career as a commercial and fine art photographer, I have accumulated a vast
knowledge of the photographic business and have developed a high level of
organisational and production skills. Photo production coordination is something I am
particularly good at and enjoy, and I have decided to offer these skills to other
photographers, allowing them to focus mainly on their creative output and technical
aspects of their photo assignments.
Born and trained as a photographer in Germany, I moved to London in the late 80's to work as a
freelance assistant for fashion and advertising photographers, as well as for the music
photographer Sheila Rock.
From 1990 I worked for Freemans catalogue, producing accessories spreads and fashion
brochures as well as being commissioned to do portraits of actors.
While raising my children in the mid 90's, I studied psychology at Sussex University, but missing
the creativity of photography I went back to it full-time in 1998 and in 2000 I had my first
exhibition at the Media Centre Gallery in Brighton. Since then I have been working on my own
projects as a fine art photographer and curator, regularly exhibiting my work in galleries in
Brighton and London. In September 2004 I graduated from the University of Brighton with a MA
in Design for my photographic tree book project 'The Whisper of a Million Leaves', which was
published by Damiani in 2006. I am now working on my second monograph 'No Diving', to be
published in 2009.
